Abstract

Muhammad Iqbal Najmi, a distinguished Urdu and Punjabi writer of Hamd, Naat, and Islami literature for children. His Punjabi book Seerat Huzoor صلى الله عليه وسلم Di Published in 1985 for children. As a teacher, Najmi presents the life history of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم easy, simple, engaging for under teen age. This book depicts pre-Islamic era, the birth of Prophets, childhood, youth, and major events after Prophethood. It based as meaningful narration. Central strength of the work of Prophet’s صلى الله عليه وسلم with deep love, mercy, and greatness for children, ahuge number of heartfelt incidents. Although the article notes a few minor inaccuracies in historical details and wording, it concludes that Najmi’s high thinking, clearance, and emotional depth creates highness of this book. This important book has contribution to Punjabi Children”s seerat literature.
